Inking exercises From Apoth

Hello everyone. These two images are things I cooked up yesterday. I've been doing a lot of my inking with Painter 9 and I was hoping to get some feedback about it in regards. If you could take a look and gimme a hand that would be great!

I would suggest picking out a strong light source to guide your shading, These figures look flat because there is no dominant light source. Give it a shot.

Par your advice I went in and added a much stronger light source to the images. It greatly improved them. Thanks a lot!
