Bracket 2 Round 3 Group 2 is
Axel, Cloves Rodrigues, Crawl64, jaxel, JediJoe, OZ!, Phatman, sevans

I am not providing reference for this round. Your subject is:
Spider-Man (classic red and blue costume) drinking Coca-Cola

This is a double elimination tournament but no shows don't get a second chance. All art show be posted in the the art thread. The art thread for this group is:
http://www.digitalwebbing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98091

4 will move into the next round of Bracket 2. For the rest this is the end.

The art can be in any stage of completion and in any medium, but it has to be your art and it has to be in the art thread by the deadline.

The deadline is 16 September 2006 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time (currently GMT-4).
If your art is not in the thread within 6 hours of that time, you will be considered a no show.
If your art changes after that time, you will be considered a no show.
If your art post is edited after that time, you will be considered a no show.

The subject can be interpreted as loosely (within reason) as you wish. If I'm vague, it's purposely vague. However if when reference is provided that should be the reference used.

Have fun.

Damn it! I've never been a fan of Spider-Man.
... I do like Coke Cola though

I tried to watch that Spider-Man 2 movie, geez did that blow great, big, whiny, annoying chunks of bile. Way to hammer the very obvious message across Sam Raimi (I love Evil Dead, what happened to you man).

Ooh well, I guess that this will be a proper challenge for me then - Time to kick arse and take no prisoners.

This should be interesting...

I've seen all the contestants work in the other rounds and this should be a really strong group. Hope I can at least be competetive.

Good luck everyone.

Well mine is up now, and I may even have time to throw down some colours.

Nothing like coming LAST! in the previous round to make you pull finger.
Can't wait to see the rest of the groups work.

I'm about to put up a 'quickish' colour version of the picture.

My website limits/reduces the size of some pics to keep it uniform. I think that It would look much stronger at a larger size - but what can u do? Anyone have any easy ideas?

Thanks for the kind words CLOVES. You've been producing some solid work so far - hopefully I'll see you in the next round.

Might just be me, but didn't you forget to flip the image? The buildings are all floating in the sky! :w00t: Otherwise, quite a cool pic. Well done.

NO - that was deliberate, so you look at the pic just a wee bit longer than if it was other way around. Just think of it as a spidey's eye view (or something).
