Damn! That's fantastic, loads of energy and movement and your usual mad level of detail.Only thing I'm not too sure about is the hands - they're looking a bit awkward (in the case of the girl On Top) and a bit flat (the girl Down Under). Think it's because the palms are a bit wide, it's throwing off the hand shape a bit.

Glad to have you back from your self-imposed exile ;) .

insanely detailed as always.

That looks great. It deserves ink and colors. My only complaint is Ron Stoppable isn't in the picture. Maybe Rufus is running to him. I like your rendition of Shego.

I lovvveee Kim Possible. Been toying with ideas to draw her and the gang lately. I'm keeping this one in my favorites file. Very nice!

Hey Matt. As you can see, I've used my weeks of exile to finely hone my artwork to look EXACTLY...as it always has. :(

I may have eased the throttle into auto pilot on Shego's hands a bit now that you mention it. I was considerably more worried about the huge solid black areas that are one of her visual trademarks.

midknight
Thanks midknight! Can ya tell I hacked out that phony "tech" ceiling in about 10 minutes? ;)

Hey jason. I think in my original thumbnails it WAS Ron appearing in the background, but I decided the "danger" factor would be sold better with Drakken. (Although I realize Kim Possible's comic villains are about as threatening as cold oatmeal) More so than most of my pin ups though, I do agree this baby needs some color. Gotta get Shego's subtly green pigment just right though.

Locoduck
Thanks Locoduck. For someone who grew up with spectacularly unfunny Saturday morning shows like Scooby Doo, Kim Possible's knack for consistently sly humor is a genuine treat. The problem with drawing the characters is, the show's distinctive art style already fits them perfectly. I got about halfway through, when I realized I wasn't sure how I was going to handle Kim and Shego's hair. Overall I guess it came out ok, since I wasn't forced to explain who these people are...like I was afraid I would have to.

You got it Oil. Hopefully the next one will have some of MY artwork in it.(your paperback copy of Dr. Phil McGraw's "The Ultimate Weight Solution" should be arriving in 2 to 3 weeks ;) )

Hey Zurg! While I'm technically "capable" of doing both, I'm not particularly "skilled" at either. Maybe someone here will have mercy and take care of it before I break something.

While I have to admit I have never seen these characters on TV, I think they look really cool here. Good stuff!

scherzo! Nice to see you posting again brother! I knew exactly who they were and I think your work has changed alittle since I last saw it. You can see that you're starting to find your own voice with your work(I use voice instead of style.) You have a more definitive look to your work. I enjoyed your stuff before..but nice man! Nice energy to this piece!..but where's Ron Stoppable???

Thanks Fahnon, The Scribe and Wozlok for taking a moment to respond. I guess a visual assist from the source itself is in order for the uninitiated...

Thanks for posting Jim. :)
Sorry about the M.I.A sidekick. Maybe I'll cover this Disney territory again later and give Mr. Stoppable some face time. Interesting to hear the drawings are looking different to you these days. I haven't consciously altered anything about my approach, but having a "definitive" style sounds like a good thing. Which is fine since, I think I've gotten old and set in my ways. OWW...just broke my hip again from too much typing...

That would be nice. :)

It would most likely be another 4 months before *I* show up with a colored version, and the worst part is it'll suck. :(

Thanks salvador. I'm glad you like it. :) One day I hope to be able to COLOR something like this. I'll give it a shot later.

Thanks Kep. Funny thing is, it never really occurred to me that young fans of Kim Possible might get a particular kick out of this. Glad it went over well. :)
