I guess the cat's out of the bag on this one, so I can mention it.

Just finished lettering the first issue of this series, and it's been really fun. Got to do some funky stuff with the lettering. I used my very own hand-printing for Iceman's letters home -- a huge thrill for me as Iceman has always been my favorite X-Man (See samples). And I came up with a funky way to do Professor X's telepathic dialogue balloons. There's some robotic dialogue and monsters, etc., as well.

Good series, too.

I should NOT nitpick on Piekos, since you actually know lettering, but on page 3. The way the letters rise and fall in the panel 4 for the monster/flower/thingy and the way they fall for Hank's scream in panel 5 looks a bit too similar for my tastes.
But it's a very minor thing, that I only noticed because the two balloons are so close.

But overall, this is stellar work as always. The Bobby handwriting's great.

Well, I'm going to wait until I see it on Mile High Comics (if they show previews there) or when I buy it. It was hard to read, but I think that was the scan (which often happens) not Piekos. ;)

Thanks, fellas. It's rare that I get a Marvel gig that has so many options for varied lettering. Artwork and story are good, too.

Nice. I thought Digital Caligraphy had most if not all Marvel books locked down.

They have most of the titles, I think, but there are still a few books done elsewhere. Richard Starkings/Comicraft does a couple, too.
