I just didn't have time to finish this. I got maybe halfway done and fudged the rest. Lost wrong. Not happy w/ padmes face. Oh well. As usaual C+c.

Ok, I just got too tired so I stopped trying to clean it up and finish it, you will see the obviousness of it. I knew of Grievous but never actually saw Revenge of the Sith until today when a friend let me borrow it, so I had no idea how big he actually was, but he had already been drawn. Other than that, there's not much more to say. My original idea was to have a flashback scene of Padme holding a Baby Grievous thinking back to the bar that night.

Press, you never fail to astonish me with your ingenuity in creating mood in a single cell. You may have some minor issues here and there in execution (though none I can find in this piece) but you always have an incredible sense of dynamic.
Kinda cheating a bit though with the screen image. I thought the rules stated that each piece must be original work, not something you drew a while ago. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I drew the whole thing minus the screen image today. I was really happy with this and thought the screen image would be great way to tie the rounds together.

If you haven't been eliminated once already you will continue on. I on the other hand am destined for defeat the second time in my group it would seem. :(

So yeah, anyone who loses in any bracket 1 group will go into bracket 2.

From Bracket 2, the top 3 in each group move on to Bracket 2 Round 3, the others are eliminated from the tournament

Grievous is funny but if there's one thing that really stands out about your drawing is that the Sun Sword just isn't Fabulous.

(FYI everyone, this will not be the last time that I use the Sun Sword joke, so i hope you think it's funny dammit!)

I really liked this round. A lot of good art on here. Mitze got my vote because of clarity and content. I voted for Goff's just cause I thought it was well drawn and original and of course I had to go with Press' work because... Well damn dude. Who wouldn't? The last vote went to Great Scott. I thought yours was pretty damn funny. Great style. I was going to vote Ethan but I didn't think he followed the rules well. Its a pin up of the required characters but I don't see a bar or anything. Padme is holding a drink but then you don't need to be in a bar to carry around a glass of wine(which I had no idea they served at bars). Sorry man, great art but you didn't have the content.

Thanks Press Oblivion, its the only reason I sat through Closer myself, but it makes me feel like a pervert... I love the movie LEON, have watched it too many times and thought that Natalie was brilliant, so watching her all grown up feels just a little to wrong - Like those fuckers getting off on the Olsen twins.

Maybe that adds to the allure? :whistlin:
