View Full Version : Transformers gag strips

Hey all, been doing these one panel Transformes gag strips lately, done about a dozen so far. I've mostly just shown them on TF art forums, so that crew of course loves them heh. Would love to get some feedback from you guys who may be more objective ;) Of course a passing familiarity with the property is necessary to get a some of the jokes... but I'm mostly looking for art comments anyways. Thanks!

Yeah, that would be a hillarious contrast to the books IDW is producing, have them in the back. It'd be great.
These are all great. Loved the Arcee one. Smurfette ... lol.

Simply put, awesome.

Well, there are already going to be a few original 'Lil Formers' strips published in the Official Transformers Collectors Club newsletter. It's a bimonthly thing that Hasbro sends out to memebers for the club. Right now they've asked for two strips a month :)
Perhaps I should see if IDW is interested as well! I actually had a good idea for a short miniseries based around the concept back when Dreamwave had the license, but I couldn't find the right artist to draw it for me heh. Didn't think to try drawing it myself until recently. I figured drawing robots'd be just way too hard but it's not so bad :)

Wow. I never saw these the first time around. Excellent work, my friend. TF and humour can be an odd mix, but you've pulled it off.
