Round 1 Group 7 consists of
c-rabbit, Cat, Crawl64, drewerd, JLIllustrator, Mitze, pain for pleasure, Press Oblivion, xaltair, Zamurai
All finished pieces must be posted to this thread. No comments should be made in this thread until the poll is posted.
The poll will be posted on 20 August 2006 near 12:01 am.
Keep discussions in the discussion thread until that time.
The subject for this week is Thundarr versus a lizard man. See the discussion thread for reference.

When I posted the poll there was a photobucket image saying that your image was deleted. Since there was no image available you were skipped. Now that it's available you have been added.

thanks nae.. it wasn't easy..but I found a few hours(dinner break) and got it done.. I wanted to spend more time on it but this was the best I could do right now with all the deadlines..some of which you are aware of..lol ..If I make it too..say..round three, it should be smooth sailing and I will be able to spend more time on them.
So..does no one get the Hanna Barbara reference? :blink: Man I am OLD :man:

These look awesome, although i didn't have time to finish mine, just in the sketching stage i don't think i would've stood a chance anyways.

...perhaps, we shall meet in another challenge, but I sure hope it's not for several rounds to come...

I had originaly cropped Ariel out of the drawing becuase she wasn't finished but it made Thundarr look too Murderous. So I tried to finish it up hte best could befoe the deadline.

If there is a flaw in your entry, it's that the Sun Sword just isn't fabulous! :laugh: I think that you captured the concept of the topic well and the Full Nelson hold was flawless!

Well, Press Oblivion takes the cake for me, and Dreward comes in second, though I don't think there was one bad entry in this group, and I'm surprised the votes aren't closer.

Just a quick note.
Despite what the poll state all voting closes at 11:59:59 Eastern TONIGHT!
Round 2 will start then. There will be some changes to the voting time in Round 2 so that Round 3 will start BEFORE the weekend of September 9 and 10 (Baltimore Comicon).
ROUND 2 begins as soon as I get all the threads posted early tomorrow morning.
