Here is the finished 15 pager. I tried to keep it small but you know how Hellboy topics get.
Even though I'm writing this for fun and I already have some one arting it, feel free to use it as a practice script. Just let me see the results

HELLBOY: THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE TO DIE

PAGE ONE (3 Panels)
Panel 1. HELLBOY and ABE SAPIEN stand in front of a dense jungle’s edge. Bamboo shoots tower into the sky. Both of their backs are to the reader. Medium sized panel going from one side of the page to the other.
CAPTION:
Tana Toraja, Sulawesi, Indonesia
HELLBOY:
Of course it has to be in there. How did we end up here again?
ABE:
The Torajans have always been a fascination of mine.
ABE (LINKED):
Massive sacrificial funeral rites. Burial caves guarded by life like effigies.
Panel 2. Side shot of HELLBOY in front of ABE. Both are trudging uphill. The ground they’re walking on is moss covered and rocky.
HELLBOY:
You still didn’t answer my question.
ABE:
It seems a local tribe is worried they’ve angered their Gods.
ABE (LINKED):
Some of the Torajans have decided to leave the village for the city. Ending in death before anyone can leave.
HELLBOY:
So what’s killin’em?

ABE:
No ones sure. There hasn’t been any attacks.

Panel 2. HELLBOY and ABE emerge from the jungle and are walking towards the reader. ABE has a pleased look on his face. HELLBOY keeps his stoic look. Make this another strip panel except for a bit larger. The mountainous jungle stands behind them. They're standind in a jungle ravine.
ABE:
Ahh, here we are.
Panel 3. Far shot. Larger panel. Side view of ABE and HELLBOY walking next to the burial caves. Effigies stand guard on the “balconies” of the caves.
HELLBOY:
You weren’t kidding about these guys liking death.
ABE:
They believe it’s the ultimate obtainment of spirituality.
Panel 4. Close up of the balcony with the effigies standing in a row. Their vacant stares are eerily human. The walls of the cave entrances are ornately carved.

<I am Hudi Oesman, leader of this tribe. The Trorajans open their village to you.>

Panel 1. Now inside of LIANI’S hut. HELLBOY is hunching down due to the sloped ceiling. The huts interior is sparse with nothing more than essentials. Woven rugs and blankets thrown about on the floor. A crude bed in the corner with a blanket. ABE stands near HELLBOY while LIANI stands across from the.
LIANI:
<It will be nice to have company around; it’s been lonely since…>
ABE:
<Since what?>
LIANI (LINKED):
<Since my husband was killed by the Gods.>
Panel 2. LIANI from the shoulders up. Mouth opens as if speaking.
LIANI:
<We were going to move to the city. But he died the day we were supposed to leave.>
Panel 3. HELLBOY turned and speaking to ABE. LIANI to the right of them.
ABE:
Her husband was killed before they could leave for the city.
HELLBOY:
How many others were killed before they could leave?
Panel 4. ABE has turned to LIANI and is questioning her further.
ABE:
<How many others lost someone like you?>
LIANI:
<Five other families have lost someone.>
Panel 5. ABE and HELLBOY head for the ladder. Walking away from LIANI.
ABE:
<Are all of the bodies in the burial caves?>
LIANI:
<Yes, Hudi insisted on quick ceremonies and large sacrifices to please the angry Gods.>
ABE:
We need to go examine those bodies.

Panel 1. Detailed shot of the burial cave walls. They’re covered in ornate carvings as well.
Panel 2. Side shot of ABE holding a flashlight. HELLBOY follows close behind. Bones and skulls lay around the cave floor. ABE’S flashlight beam is aimed upon two primitive coffins. Covered in ribbons and flowers that have recently dried up and are dead.
ABE:
There’s what we’re looking for.
HELLBOY:
Leave it to me.
Panel 3. Close up of HELLBOY’S stone fist reaching for the first coffin.
Panel 4. HELLBOY tears the top off of the coffin. ABE stands to the side. Skulls and bones at their feet. Bones are scattered throughout the pocketed holes in the cave’s walls.

Panel 5. The dead tribesman lay in the coffin. HELLBOY and ABE stand over him looking down.
ABE:
I’ll start here; see if you can find the other three coffins.
HELLBOY:
Can do.
PAGE EIGHT (4 Panels)
Flashlight beam circle showing no coffins but many skeletons strewn about a burial cave. Everything else outside of the flashlight circle is dark. Show a pair of eyes watching from the darkness. Effigies stand over the bones on the wall.
Panel 2. The eyes belonged to a small pink colored lizard. The lizard has a strange glow about it. In this panel it is just the lizard is in it. Show HELLBOY’S reflection in its large dark eyes.
Panel 3. Three coffins are stacked like a small pyramid. HELLBOY stands in front of them, flashlight pointing down. The lizard is above his head, hanging upside down on the ceiling.
HELLBOY:
Bingo.
Panel 4. HELLBOY is carrying all three coffins at once. Two on his shoulder with the rock hand and one on his other shoulder. Show him walking out of the cave. The lizard still watching closely.
PAGE NINE (5 Panels)
Panel 1. HELLBOY returns to ABE crouching over the second coffin. He has his hands in the coffin, finishing a crude autopsy.
HELLBOY:
Find anything?
ABE:
Drop those over here and I’ll see if my theory is right.
Panel 2. HELLBOY drops all three coffins down at once. Next to where ABE is. The bodies are spilling out of the coffins.
SFX:
THUD
SFX:
KRRCCKK
Panel 3. ABE goes over to the bodies lying about the broken coffins. He has a knife in his hand.
ABE:
The other two bodies didn’t have livers.
ABE (LINKED):
If these are the same, then it can only be one thing.
Panel 4. ABE is at the last of the bodies crouched down over it. The other bodies have their stomachs cut open already. HELLBOY stands off to the side.
ABE:
Lamboyo…
HELLBOY:
What?
ABE (LINKED):
Torajan myth. The ability to shape shift one’s soul and send it fourth. Feeding on its victim’s liver and sealing the corpse back up with its long tongue. The victim wakes up unaware of the attack and dies a few days later.
HELLBOY (LINKED):
It must be Hudi.
Panel 5. HELLBOY from the waist up.
HELLBOY:
We have to get back to the village.

Panel 1. ABE and HELLBOY are walking away from the burial caves. A small glowing bird is following in the air. It is the same color as the lizard.
ABE:
As the soul come close to its victim they start to become drowwsseee…
HELLBOY:
Are you okay?
ABE (LINKED):
Whaa… yessss...
Panel 2. ABE crashes forward towards the ground.
ABE:
Nnnghh…
Panel 3. ABE is passed out on the ground. HELLBOY is looking around alertly. The bird has become larger in the sky.
CAPTION:
One of my talismans must be saving me from sleep.
HELLBOY:
Show yourself!
Panel 4. Small panel of the bird in the air.
HUDI:
You fool.
Panel 5. Larger panel of a full body shot of HUDI in his werewolf beast shape. Towering over HELLBOY.

Panel 1. HUDI swings his massive paw/hand towards HELLBOY. HELLBOY is jumping out of the path of the paw/hand.
SFX:
Whooosh
HUDI:
You won’t stand in my way. I will save my VILLAGE!
Panel 2. HELLBOY crouches down. One knee on the ground the other bent with the foot on the ground facing the reader. Grabbing for his gun with his normal hand. Stone fist also on the ground holding his balance.
HELLBOY:
You’ll haveta do better than that.
Panel 3. HELLBOY standing up pointing his gun. He stands alone in this panel.
Panel 4. HELLBOY stands in front of the daunting HUDI beast. Firing his gun at HUDI.
SFX:
BLAM
Panel 5. HUDI stands smiling with a hole through his chest. The forest is visible through the hole. The bullet has sparked a fire in the jungle.
HUDI:
Now you DIE!!!
PAGE TWELVE (4 Panels)
Panel 1. Close up of HUDI’S bestial mouth. He has long wicked fangs. Strange serrated teeth fill his mouth. His long grotesque tentacle like tongue creeps fourth.
Panel 2. Large panel of HUDI shooting his tongue forward at HELLBOY. The fire has spread in the jungle background.

HELLBOY:
What th…
Panel 3. The tongue squeezes around HELLBOY’S midsection. HELLBOY drops his gun.
SFX:
Arrghhh
Panel 4. HUDI holds HELLBOY in front of himself with his tongue. His paw/hands have their razor sharp claws out. Holding them over HELLBOY. The jungle fire continues to spread.
HUDI:
I shall start with your liver, then your friends.
HELLBOY:
Like hell…
ABE (OP):
Hellboyyyeee…usssee thee firreee…
PAGE THIRTEEN (5 Panels)
Panel 1. ABE is on his knees, one hand holding him up. He holds a stick with its end lit in his free hand. His eyes look as if he can barely keep them open.
ABE:
Thhh firrr… cannnttt stayyy awa…
Panel 2. ABE has collapsed to the ground again. HUDI has turned his attention to the passed out ABE. Still holding HELLBOY, although in a visibly looser hold.
Panel 3. This panel will be smaller panel within panel two. HELLBOY’S rock hand clenches onto HUDI’S tongue tip, which is wrapped on the lower half of HELLBOY.
Panel 4. HUDI’S eyes explode in pain from HELLBOY’S grip on his tongue. HELLBOY holds onto the uncoiling tongue.
Panel 5. HELLBOY stands on the ground with HUDI’S tongue still in his grip
PAGE FOURTEEN (5 Panels)
Panel 1. HELLBOY pulls back on HUDI’S tongue starting a sling shot effect. HELLBOY is pulling with his regular hand.
HELLBOY:
Fire huh. That I can do.
Panel 2. HUDI’S body comes flying head first towards HELLBOY. The fire in the jungle fills the background.
Panel 3. HELLBOY’S rock fist meets HUDI’S face in a massive collision.
SFX:
Cruuunnch
HUDI:
Pleassssee!!
Panel 4. HUDI has fallen to all fours. His body has returned to his human shape.
HUDI:
Please have mercy. I only wanted to save the village.
Panel 5. HELLBOY stands over HUDI. The jungle burns all around them.
HELLBOY:
By killing your villagers?
HUDI:
Only to get them to stay. Necessary sacrifices.
HELLBOY (LINKED):
You can’t control them with fear.
HUDI (WHISPER):
I will after you’re gone.
PAGE FIFTEEN (5 Panels)
Panel 1. HUDI strikes at HELLBOY in human form except for his slashing hand which is in beast form again. Razors claws bared.
HUDI:
ARRGGHHH
Panel 2. HELLBOY grabs HUDI’S slashing hand. HUDI’S face has went from rage to shock at the ease at which HELLBOY stopped the assault.
HELLBOY:
I didn’t want to have to do it this way.
HUDI:
No… no…
Panel 3. HELLBOY’S back faces the reader as he holds HUDI in the air with his rock hand. They stand in front of the blazing jungle.
HUDI:
You can’t… no… don’t do this!
HELLBOY:
You’ve left me no choice.
Panel 4. HELLBOY’S silhouette is now in the fire. Half of HUDI’S body has been burned away.
SFX:
AHHHHHH
Panel 5. HELLBOY is now all charred from the fire. He has ABE slung over his shoulder. HELLBOY walks away from the burning jungle. Towards the reader.
HELLBOY:
Let’s get outta here before they find Hudi’s body.

Panel 1. HUDI swings his massive paw/hand towards HELLBOY. HELLBOY is jumping out of the path of the paw/hand.

You won’t stand in my way. I will save my VILLAGE!
Panel 2. HELLBOY crouches down. One knee on the ground the other bent with the foot on the ground facing the reader. Grabbing for his gun with his normal hand. Stone fist also on the ground holding his balance.
HELLBOY:
You’ll haveta do better than that.
Panel 3. HELLBOY standing up pointing his gun. He stands alone in this panel.
Panel 4. HELLBOY stands in front of the daunting HUDI beast. Firing his gun at HUDI.
SFX:
BLAM
Panel 5. HUDI stands smiling with a hole through his chest. The forest is visible through the hole. The bullet has sparked a fire in the jungle.
HUDI:
Now you DIE!!!
PAGE TWELVE (4 Panels)
Panel 1. Close up of HUDI’S bestial mouth. He has long wicked fangs. Strange serrated teeth fill his mouth. His long grotesque tentacle like tongue creeps fourth.
Panel 2. Large panel of HUDI shooting his tongue forward at HELLBOY. The fire has spread in the jungle background.
SFX:
BLLAAAAA
HELLBOY:
What th…
Panel 3. The tongue squeezes around HELLBOY’S midsection. HELLBOY drops his gun.
SFX:
Arrghhh
Panel 4. HUDI holds HELLBOY in front of himself with his tongue. His paw/hands have their razor sharp claws out. Holding them over HELLBOY. The jungle fire continues to spread.
HUDI:
I shall start with your liver, then your friends.
HELLBOY:
Like hell…
ABE (OP):
Hellboyyyeee…usssee thee firreee…
PAGE THIRTEEN (5 Panels)
Panel 1. ABE is on his knees, one hand holding him up. He holds a stick with its end lit in his free hand. His eyes look as if he can barely keep them open.
ABE:
Thhh firrr… cannnttt stayyy awa…
Panel 2. ABE has collapsed to the ground again. HUDI has turned his attention to the passed out ABE. Still holding HELLBOY, although in a visibly looser hold.
Panel 3. This panel will be smaller panel within panel two. HELLBOY’S rock hand clenches onto HUDI’S tongue tip, which is wrapped on the lower half of HELLBOY.
Panel 4. HUDI’S eyes explode in pain from HELLBOY’S grip on his tongue. HELLBOY holds onto the uncoiling tongue.
Panel 5. HELLBOY stands on the ground with HUDI’S tongue still in his grip
PAGE FOURTEEN (5 Panels)
Panel 1. HELLBOY pulls back on HUDI’S tongue starting a sling shot effect. HELLBOY is pulling with his regular hand.
HELLBOY:
Fire huh. That I can do.
Panel 2. HUDI’S body comes flying head first towards HELLBOY. The fire in the jungle fills the background.
Panel 3. HELLBOY’S rock fist meets HUDI’S face in a massive collision.
SFX:
Cruuunnch
HUDI:
Pleassssee!!
Panel 4. HUDI has fallen to all fours. His body has returned to his human shape.
HUDI:
Please have mercy. I only wanted to save the village.
Panel 5. HELLBOY stands over HUDI. The jungle burns all around them.
HELLBOY:
By killing your villagers?
HUDI:
Only to get them to stay. Necessary sacrifices.
HELLBOY (LINKED):
You can’t control them with fear.
HUDI (WHISPER):
I will after you’re gone.
PAGE FIFTEEN (5 Panels)
Panel 1. HUDI strikes at HELLBOY in human form except for his slashing hand which is in beast form again. Razors claws bared.
HUDI:
ARRGGHHH
Panel 2. HELLBOY grabs HUDI’S slashing hand. HUDI’S face has went from rage to shock at the ease at which HELLBOY stopped the assault.
HELLBOY:
I didn’t want to have to do it this way.
HUDI:
No… no…
Panel 3. HELLBOY’S back faces the reader as he holds HUDI in the air with his rock hand. They stand in front of the blazing jungle.
HUDI:
You can’t… no… don’t do this!
HELLBOY:
You’ve left me no choice.
Panel 4. HELLBOY’S silhouette is now in the fire. Half of HUDI’S body has been burned away.
SFX:
AHHHHHH
Panel 5. HELLBOY is now all charred from the fire. He has ABE slung over his shoulder. HELLBOY walks away from the burning jungle. Towards the reader.
HELLBOY:
Let’s get outta here before they find Hudi’s body.
ABE:
Huh… nnnffgh.
