The poll will be posted on 20 August 2006 near 12:01 am.
Keep discussions in the discussion thread until that time.

I voted colt45, and I would have voted for Jaxel's too, but it seems I overlooked it. Both had cool renditions of the lizardman. I really liked Jaxel's rendering too. Good thing everyone else did too.

This is a double elimination tournament, so if you have an off week and get kicked-out, it's not all over as you will automatically be entered into the lower bracket. Once you are eliminated from the lower bracket you are out of the tournament. However, failure to supply an entry will mean automatic elimination for the tournament (not entry in the lower bracket).

so even if i am late with mine can i go ahead to the next round? I mean i really wanted in on this. I am just a boob and read the deadline wrong. :man:

Zero-Optix: That was looking like a pretty damn strong pic, my competitive side is glad you missed the deadline... BUT my artistic side would have loved to have seen this finished. It's a shame you got the deadline wrong.

Jaxel and colt 45, got my votes. Nice work guys.

Nice pic Zero, you definitely would've gotten one of my votes in this round-I did vote for everyone else though. Would've been a real dilemma trying to pick 5 out of the 6 entries in our group this round, but I really like yours-and Jaxel's is pretty damn cool too!

I f i known you could vote twice i would have voted for you colt. I really like your chick and the Lizard Man reminds me of Thulsa Doom when he changed in the Conan movie-love that vibe! :)

Hey thanx Zero! The Thulsa Doom lizard was definitely on my mind when I was working on the drawing, man, James Earl Jones was pretty cool as a bad guy in that one! And I don't think everyone realizes that this tournament draw-off is a multiple choice vote, we can vote for more than one entry...

Just a quick note.
Despite what the poll state all voting closes at 11:59:59 Eastern TONIGHT!
Round 2 will start then. There will be some changes to the voting time in Round 2 so that Round 3 will start BEFORE the weekend of September 9 and 10 (Baltimore Comicon).

ROUND 2 begins as soon as I get all the threads posted early tomorrow morning.
