The Mac magazines and review sites have been going nuts for this program since it debuted last year. It wins awards left and right.
I just look at it as a brand new way to do poor lettering.
Of course, it's not seriously aimed at comic creators, so maybe I'm being too harsh.

As a writer, I've used it to layout my dialogue on the pages of art for final script edits before it gets sent to a letterer. In that regard it's a nice tool.
That being said, however, I would really like to see one of our esteemed DW letterers take Comic Life out for a full test drive, put the pedal to the floor, and see exactly how far this little program can go.
I know it will never approximate professional lettering, but it would be nice to see an expert do a full test and review.
The company is more than welcome to send me a copy for review. Until then, I'm not buying.
