1st draft. I find it hard to go back and edit a script. Make it easy for me. Rip it up, so I'll feel I have to edit it.

FULL PAGER: Frontal full figure of Ryu, rucksack on back, head looking at the floor as he walks down a street in India at nigh time.
1. CAPTION: “Akuma draws his strength from the forces of hatred and rage, he is a lord of lunacy. You are not yet ready to face him, all that will await you, is death.”
2. CAPTION: “Unless…you are prepared to call upon the darkness that resides within you.”
3. CAPTION: “Are you willing to go that far Ryu?”
4. CAPTION: “Are you willing to walk Akuma’s path in order to defeat him?”
5. CAPTION: “Death or darkness Ryu…”

PANEL ONE: Establishing shot. We’re looking from behind Ryu, sat on a high grass verge at sun rise, meditating. On one side of the shot are a few trees that go off panel, indicating large woodland.
1. CAPTION: “…those are your choices.”
PANEL TWO: Close up on Ryu, we’re looking at the front of him. His eyes are closed, he looks calm and at peace.
PANEL THREE: Same panel type as previous, Ryu’s heard a voice he recognises, his eyes are now wide open and he’s looking a little scared and distressed.
2. UNKNOWN: So…
PANEL FOUR: Upper body shot of Akuma looking as bad ass as always.
3. AKUMA: …are you finally prepared to do what is in your heart?!

PANEL ONE: Side shot, we’re looking at head and shoulder of Ryu. He’s now standing and looking in Akuma’s direction. He’s looking emotionless.
1. RYU: No.
PANEL TWO: Frontal upper body shot. Akuma, while still looking angry, has taken aback but Ryu’s answer.
2. AKUMA: What?!!
PANEL THREE: We’re now looking at upper body shots of Ryu and Akuma. Ryu’s at the forefront of the panel with his back to Akuma, the sun’s shining on his white clothes making him look somewhat like a messiah. Akuma in the background is looking outraged.
3. RYU: I don’t need to defeat you, I’m not weak enough to think that I do anymore.
4. AKUMA: Don’t fool yourself! I am your curse Ryu…if you do not defeat me, I will forever haunt you or those you love!!
PANEL FOUR: Head and shoulder of Akuma. He has an evil grin on his face.
5. AKUMA: Maybe, Sakira, will fight me!
PANEL FIVE: Head shot of Ryu looking shocked.
PANEL SIX: Flashback. A shot of Sakira’s happy, beaming face.

PANEL ONE: Wide panel. Close up of Ryu. He’s running towards us, looking furious.
1. RYU: NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
PANEL TWO: Shot from behind Ryu. He’s pulled off his trademark dragon punch, knocking Akuma into the air.
PANEL THREE: Large panel. We’re looking from behind Ryu again. He has both arms slightly out, with his fists clenched. We can see the dark purple energy all around him, Akuma is now on the floor in front of him, but we can’t see him.
PANEL FOUR: Head shot, this panel should overlap panel three. We’re looking at the side of Ryu, we can see his eyes have turned white.
2. CAPTION: “Death or darkness Ryu…”

PANEL ONE: Same as previous panel. Ryu’s head has dropped. He’s disappointed with himself.
1. AKUMA(off-panel): You fool!!
PANEL TWO: Side shot. Akuma has hold of Ryu by the neck. He’s about to smash his face in.
2. AKUMA: You can’t beat me! You never could, and now, you never will!!
PANEL THREE: Frontal of Akuma with his fist coming towards us, he’s about to hit Ryu with everything he’s got.
PANEL FOUR: Side shot. We’re looking from far out so was can see the environment a bit more. The figures of Akuma and Ryu are blacked out. Akuma’s connected sending Ryu soaring through the air, about to go over the verge.

PANEL ONE: Medium shot. We’re now in Ken’s house. He’s sat down with a baby in his arms, acting cute while playing with it. He looks real happy.
1. CAPTION: A few days later…
1. KEN: Acutcha cutcha ku.
PANEL TWO: Similar to previous panel. Someone else has come into our view. We can see the back of them at the forefront of the panel.
2. UNKNOWN: K-Ken?
3. KEN: Yeah, babe?
4. UNKNOWN: I…I-It’s…
PANEL THREE: Head and shoulder of Ken. He’s now looking straight at us. He’s been shaken and scared by what he’s seen off panel.
5. KEN: Eliza what is it?!
PANEL FOUR: Upper body of Eliza. She’s looking really upset, tears are falling down her face.
6. ELIZA: …It’s Ryu, Ken…

FULL PAGER: We’re looking at what is a photo of Ryu, we can see someone’s hand or part of their hand on one of the corners. Ryu himself is lying on some large rock, looking broken and lifeless.
