sup again people,
kinda tired, so please be patient on this one.

i.b. the innocentboy, usually chill up in the main Creator's Community section of digitalwebbing.com

first off, Song of Songs the Comic Book issue 2 page 12 is now up and online, nicely titled "Zutterfly Knife" - http://www.songofsongsthecomicbook.com

secondly, same audio still up at http://www.innocentboyproductions.com consisting of the Artifacts, the Last Emporer, Aesop Rock, L*Roneous, Del, J.U.I.C.E., Brand Nubian and some others yeah.

thirdly, Song of Songs the Comic Book issue #1 is now availble to be pre-ordered. shit's gonna hit this fall, and it's going bi-monthly from there if all goes according to plan. no more of this 1 or 2 pages a month bullshit. we talking 22 pages, full colour, every second fucking month aw yeah! shit's being printed on some nice glossy stock paper too. is a lot higher quality than i was expecting..

but yeah, in regards to that, in all honesty it's kinda pricey ordering a single issue due to the stupid ass shipping costs. you wanna support like that, by all means i'd love you all even more for it. in all honesty though, 'cause i love you all already, you'll be able to save on the shipping costs if you can convince a local retailer to order the retail pack. the shipping is cut down and split among multiple copies so you won't be feeling it ... or find a bunch of friends and order the retail pack together with them. either way, it's all good.

people up in Toronto though (where i'm at), should be expecting a wicked wicked price on it when it hits the stores in our city. looking forward to it, when shit hits the shelves, the moment of truth, to see who's really feeling Song of Songs the Comic Book.

well, guess that's enough fucking blah blah for now. until next time innocent massive. stand on both feet, lift your heads up high and let 'em all know what's what.

Wow! Pretty cool stuff, man! At first, I wasn't really getting into it--a bit heavy on the "BS-ing" dialogue between the main character and his friends. But the fight at the club was great, and really established Jello Bello as the BEAST that he is. =) One punch, son! So I kept on reading.

Second issue is REALLY delivering so far! Fight scenes are definitely a talent of yours, as I never had trouble figuring out what was going on, and you reveal that the main characters either have minor powers or are wicked-cool martial artists without it seeming contrived or weird. You really captured a cool medium between Final Fight/Streets of Rage and Hip-Hop style, which I respect completely. I really dig the fact that despite Dave's speed and agility, he still gets overwhelmed by the clones (e.g. no "Law of Juvenile Invincibility" going on here). The same goes for the fact that Isaiah can't immediately beat the hell out of Jello Bello, but the fact that he can take a punch from JB and not EXPLODE speaks volumes for his ability as a fighter. You really hooked me on this one, man! I am definitely a fan!

My only criticism about Issue 2 is that I totally didn't see where or when the clone army guys showed up. I figured it out by heading back to Issue 1, where they were standing behind Jello Bello, but you may want to have them say more before they start fighting on Page 5. I think they did actually speak before then, but it looked like it could have been coming from Isaiah and/or Jello Bello.

Keep up the great work, man!

thank you for real on the detailed kudos, appreciate it!
happy you've already learned the characters names too! wasn't really expecting that until around issue 5 and things!

awesome, awesome awesome awesome. thanks for those comments.
doing the fight scenes kinda makes me wish i gave them spandex and powers (really wish i could draw them flying 50 stories up and shooting laser from thier hands), but still having fun doing it, and not regretting making it a more sorta reality based instead of a super hero book
