Hey y'all...here's a page from the upcoming mini-series BloodRayne: Plague of Dreams. Sorry it's not action-packed, exactly, but I don't want to give anything away! That is the major baddie with Rayne, though...check out his eeeevil buzzcut! :)

Rooootin, where ya been? We need to see some of your inks! I should try to post more pages, but I always forget. I'm getting old.

I'm glad you dig the stick stuff, too--thanks!

THANKS GUYS!

Stacie I have to say that the best thing about this page is how you got the leather on Garek's boots right.

and the SECOND- was that you noticed that I put some dark roots in Rayne's hair-leaving the top top flair out with the heavy familiar red highlights- I love it! (and i'm not just saying that because you are my inker- but any penciler loves it when an inker pays attention to the little details.)

so kickass.

Bravo! Looks great! Sucks you aren't coming to Chitown next week- I'd be buying!

Nice work, Stacy. I don't know who pencilled it though, but I find the lack of backgrounds disturbing.

That's what it's about, isn't it Stacy? The penciler is happy with the inks. I do find Bio's comments about the backgrounds to have merit though. Is this one of those colorist works in a background kinda thing?

Actually, I'm totally tired of inking backgrounds, it's such a pain! Mark had pencilled in some big, elaborate cityscape background, and when I saw the pencils I immediately thought "Uh uh- no way!"...so I simply left them out. Hey, they can add a photographic background or something if they want.

Just kidding.

I wouldn't get too "disturbed" by the lack of background on this page- it's essential to the story...though it is a bit jarring out of context, I suppose.

You're right , Ed, it's awesome when the penciller digs what you bring to his or her work. Mark's a fantastic penciller we'll all be hearing much more from in the fututre. :) I'll try to get copy of the pencils up...gotta find it first.

Thanks guys!

Great work Stacie. I am a big Bloodrayne fan and have played through Bloodrayne 2 and seen the corny movie, but have not bought any comics yet. I have a request though. Would I be allowed to receive a high rez image of your inks so I can practice my coloring on it? i would only use it for posts and for my portfolio on my website. Please let me know
