The following is what happens when you learn comedy writing from absurdist theatre, Monty Python, and Kevin Smith movies. I've done a lot of artist showcasing tonight so now I'm posting two samples that showcase writing as well as art. It's more of a Mahfoodesque approach from my Clerks phase (which I'll eventually grow out of.)

Allow me to take a moment to quote John Cleese
"...and now for something completely different"

Thanks for the kind review Sneed. My first actually positive review, you rule, the other stuff was really posted the blurb above the pics because I trying to be funny. Sarcasm just happens to be an area in which I excel. The other art was to show visual range, I thought try to post the work that was more distinctly my own art style first before posting these. I like these characters but I don't want to risk being written off as a knock off artist. I normally do more comedy stuff like the comics above and some video stuff which is a mix of live tv and animation which is going up on youtube shortly.

Figures the good posts only gets one comment and less than half of the views of the experimental work, I guess it is because I don't have any big name characters. Lets try to change that the following comic contains Superman, the Flash, Rogue and a few more. This was a piece I had printed in a college newspaper and I also animated it into a four minute short which I am still editing the audio and doing some touch up but it will be on youtube, ifilm, and newgrounds shortly.

Hopefully this thread picks up shortly.
