Hello Fellow Letterers,
I have been lettering my own comic anthology and was wanting to buy a font from either Blambot or ComicCraft.
Now here is my question, does anyone have these fonts:
- TimSale (either CAPS or Both Upper and Lower)
- FaceFront
- YadaYadaYada
If you do have one of the following could you make around the same size of this?

Thanks! I know this is a lot to ask, and if you do happen to do it, I will GREATLY appreciate it.
Thanks
Scott
You want it made that size and then...what? Posted so you can see it at size?

Correct!
Sorry, I just want you to either PM the example to me or post it here. The publisher that I am working with wants the font that big (that is not page size though).
Thanks!

So you're asking the guys to give you mocks of the font in that size? For comparison? A preview before you buy the font?
Does seem off-kilter.

Is that really so wrong or off base?
If I had that font and the time, a mock up of how it would look for the request doesn't seem that bad. It's not like he's trying to sucker anyone to letter a whole comic in that font for him...
Scott: How big is "that" big, if it's not print size? You want to see the font as small as your example? or at print size?
I guess what's weird is that the font is fully displayed on the creator's website...why not just go off that?

Because there's a world of difference between an alphabet display and seeing the font actually in use. Surely you appreciate that.
Sure, but last I checked, both ComicCraft and Blambot did more than just an alphebet display. I'm not saying it's a bad thing he asked...just weird is all.

I understand that it is weird, but I have a limited amount of money, and have to get the best font thsat suits the book.

Face Front is the closest to the sample shown. The lowercase y's are a close match. I think that one would probably work the best for what you're needing.

Mhmm, it doesnt have to look the same, just has to be around that size... I really like the lowercase Tim Sale one too but I just went here because the users are very generous.
Considering you can scale any of the fonts to size (they're either OTF or TTF0 that shouldn't be any problem for you.

Um, you're welcome...several of us tried to help you, but your instructions were vague at first.
Then I did the leg work over at comicbookfonts.com to figure out which font you were looking for.
So, yeah, our bad.

In fact, several of us were trying to help you help yourself. sort of the old "teach a man to fish" thing. No reason to get snippy, it's about being clear.

I know, I didn't mean for you and others to take it that way. I am 17 years-old, I have only so much money to spend on this kind of stuff.

i dunno if the "teach a man to fish" thing applies. To me, it sounded like he wanted to see the effectiveness of the lure before he went out and bought it. :p
