Hey, I've been trying to break in to the industry for years, but to no avail. Anyway, anyone care to critique these pages I sent to Marvel a little while ago?

I'm not sure how reliable geocities is. If it's not showing up for anyone can someone tell me? Thanks!

Top notch stuff! I don't have a single bad thing to say about it.

Hey, that's pretty amazing.

The only MINIMAL problem I find in these, are that sometimes the anatomy of some characters are... like, wrong. JUST IN A COUPLE OF BITS. Don't get all stressed out about it. For example, in the third page, the arm is a bit small, but it's no biggie. Or when Wolvie is jumping towards Hulk in the first page, he kinda looks the same size as he does, and then we find out he's as big as Hulk's head.

BUT DON'T FREAK OUT ABOUT IT. Really, it's nothing too important. I still think this is top-notch work.

Haha, i love the page of Wolvie tackling Hulks' head. And then when they fall out the building, made me wanna laugh. Keep at it.

Panel four on the third page is the only problem(random hand placement, Emma's left I suppose? It doesn't look right). I love the Wolvie/Hulk sequentials. Beautiful rendering, very human looking and very great layout-composition-detail-story telling. You are all around good. Can't wait to see more.

Really great stuff Eric!

Fantastic backgrounds and very nice realistic figurework.

Well, my only major crits are on the 1st page.

You have Wolverine looking and moving in too many different directions while he's supposed to be going towards the Hulk the whole time. The instance where it stands out the most is in the last 2 panels, where in panel5 he's jumping to our left and in panel 6 he's dragging Hulk to our right. Also, that last panel could use a more dynamic shot. It really doesn't look like Wolverine's momentum is going to carry the Hulk through the window, but more like he's pulling him to the floor. A more off-balanced Hulk would read better.

Over all, really great stuff and I think you should be working already. Keep posting! I'd really like to see what you doing now.
