Black Canary Inked

I am trying to get back into inking again and I came across some pencils that Erick Cruz gave me a million years ago.

Any it Jim Lee's pencils but I had trouble with what to do with the face. The original scan is very pixelated when you get up close and therefore hard to read if you know what I mean.

Well here it is warts 'n' all.

Not bad. I'd had paid some attention to her strands of hair hanging over her forehead with the shadows underneath. Possibly played with the lineweights some as well.

Thanks Bill, yeah I was having trouble with the face area.

I wasn't quite sure what was going on there so I left it be, for now, and posted it warts 'n' all.

Not to mention that her jacket blends into her top, thee's no defining what's what. It looks like just one big black mess fom the waist up. Think I'd also give those fishnets a bit of a thickening up. Right now they're just dead weighted lines. thicken those puppy's up to give them some purpose. I'd deffinately go back and rewok that hair, and the rendered lines you have on her right collar, jsut go ahead and black that whole thing in. Looks undone at the moment and those lines serve no purpose.
