Hey guys. Someone pointed out to me that it's kind of hard to read a full script in one sitting, so I'm going to break them up into 4 page segments. Will try to get a new part up at least every 2 days.
Your critiques and thoughts have helped me out immensely. Thanks to all for your comments.
Here's the first part of my fourth issue:
PAGE 1:
1. (EST. SHOT--EXT. CITY--LATE AFTERNOON: Our heroes' Jeep, huge, black and overly priced, cruises through the city.)
2. (INT. JEEP--LATE AFTERNOON: CLOSE UP on Rash Vasquez, sitting in the front passenger seat. He has a snide "matter of fact" look on his face.)
RASH: Is.
3. (CLOSE UP on Dizzy Fortune, sitting in the middle of the back seat. She shrugs sheepishly.)
DIZZY: Is.
4. (CLOSE UP on Pill Bug, sitting behind the driver’s seat, a slightly defensive look on his face.)
PILL BUG: Isn't.
5. (CLOSE UP on Chuck Fisto as he's driving. He's angry, as if someone has pushed him too far.)
CHUCK: ISN'T!
6. (Shot of Bailey La Blue, lying on her back in the Jeep's trunk space, tripping out of her mind. Her pupils are dilated, her skin is pale and sweaty and she has a huge grin spread across her face.)
BAILEY: So is!
PAGE 2:
1. (On Havoc Boy, sitting behind Rash, looking gruff and serious as usual.)
2. (HAVOC BOY’S P. O. V.: Rash, Pill Bug, Chuck and Dizzy all turn and stare at him, waiting for his response.)
3. (SAME AS PAGE 2, PANEL 1.)
HAVOC BOY: Is.
4. (WIDE SHOT of everyone. Chuck is fuming mad. Rash is ecstatic, throwing his hands up victoriously.)
RASH: YES! Majority rules! Empire Strikes Back is officially the biggest incest movie of all time!
5. (Rash turns in his seat to look back at Pill Bug.)
PILL BUG: No way! What about in Back to the Future when Marty McFly’s mom wanted to sleep with her own son?
RASH: That was innocent romantic mischief. Leia makin’ out with Luke, on a BED in front of a WOOKIE no less, was hardcore, Jedi midichlorian, voyeuristic, intergalactic incest. Way, way, WAAAAAY more taboo.
PAGE 3:
1. (Rash turns back in his seat to find Chuck furiously screaming at him.)
CHUCK: Why do you always have to talk shit about Star Wars, huh?
RASH: I don’t always talk--
CHUCK: YES YOU DO! Yes you do! Always! Remember that time when I was standing in line for Phantom Menace tickets?
2. (FLASHBACK--EXT. MOVIE THEATRE--DAY: It’s the opening day of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. A huge line of nerds, geeks and fanboys wraps around the block.)
CAPTION: MAY 1999.
3. (CLOSE UP on Chuck, waiting excitedly in line. He is so filled with joy and complete happiness that this day has finally arrived.)
CHUCK: MaytheForcebewithmemaytheForcebewithmemaytheForcebewithme...
4. (A total piece of shit car whips around the block and drives along side the movie theatre at an insanely high speed.)
5. (Rash hangs himself out of the passenger side window and faces the line of moviegoers with a loudspeaker.)
RASH: Star Wars fans! You’re all a bunch of fags and Chuck is your leader!
6. (CLOSE UP on Chuck. He looks as if his soul has been crushed.)
PAGE 4:
1. (PRESENT--INT. JEEP--LATE AFTERNOON: Rash desperately tries to calm Chuck down.)
RASH: Oh come on! You ****in’ got me back for that. Remember?
2. (FLASHBACK--EXT. MUSIC SHOP--DAY: A similar shot to PAGE 3, PANEL 2, except instead of a movie theatre the location is a music shop and instead of nerds and fanboys the enormous line is made up of punkers, goths and metal heads.)
3. (Shot of Rash, angry and pissed off while he riles up the crowd.)
RASH: I WANT MY MSI TICKETS AND I WANT MORE DRUGS! GET THIS ****IN’ LINE MOVING NOW!!!
CROWD: ****in’ move!
CROWD: Yeah!
CROWD: Hurry the hell up!
4. (Chuck’s Jeep speeds around the corner.)
5. (Chuck sits on the driver’s side window sill with a loudspeaker.)
CHUCK: Rash Vasquez is an inconsiderate jerk!
PAGE 5:
1. (The Jeep rear ends a police cruiser hard. The people in line laugh hysterically.)
CROWD: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
