The only thing I DON'T like about these pages is the pig-nose Apocalypse has. Hard to look intimidating with a nose like that. But that's it. Seriously, these pages are gorgeous. Great job.

This stuff looks really good. I remember being impressed by the Legion thing you did awhile ago. The only thing that stands out to me is the inking. I know it fits with the style, but it's a little too, I don't know if this is the right word or not, uncontrolled(?). I think because there's so much going on, it doesn't help the reader enough to separate the backgrounds from the foregrounds. But that's not too much of a complaint. I bet the pencils are killer. I'd love to see this after it's been in the hands of a crazy good inker.

The Flaming Skeleton is a mutant at the School. That's his mutant power.
Here's a Legion Page I forgot to scan:

The art looks great but the storytelling needs work.
The panels work well alone, but they don't lead themselves from one panel to the next panel.

Hello everyone,
I'm new here so I thought I'd check out the sequential forum first. Martin, your work is wonderful. I agree that the storytelling needs work. The angles you choose seem to be more for show, rather than complementing the story. I'd say on a few panels that a closer shot would have been better to accentuate the foreground and help explain what is going on.
Your style is great. One person mentioned the inking and I would have to agree. If you could clean up the inking, without taking from the style, it would do wonders to these pages. Keep up the great work man.

This looks pretty cool-
it's like if Paul Pope and Walt Simonson had a love child.
i dig Rogue alot.
My only comments would be to watch anatomy at times- i think that's what creates confusion to the viewer- because sometimes you are exaggerating things and they are getting in the way of your storytelling-
And i'd working on placement of things- where things are in relation to each other-Bad guys on the left- heroes on the right kinda thing.
like the 3rd and 4th panels on page 3- gets alil wonky. But i think if you get a handle on knowing when and were to do that - it'll be tight.
Pick and chose what your money shots will be that are relative to the story- not just the shots when you have those super hero group shots.
hopefully you get my meaning. But all in all I think this stuff looks great. Good luck!

You should be pro dammit. Are you actually trying yet? Cuz' this is some awesome stuff.

Man you have cool Style, very fluid I like it a lot..I guess this are advanced sketchs? I love the movement and the frame... I agree with the pig nose...and I don't like the girl's face (¿Rogue?) I think her eyes are too down...but what the hell! I'll buy your comics! Congrats.

nice stuff for sure
Beautiful style man!
Yeah, the storytelling could use a little work, but it's almost there.
Keep doing those pages and you'll nail it in no time flat.

The style is pretty damn awesome, it makes me think of John Paul Leon or Tommy Lee Edwards disavowed work, but with a mix of eric canette in there too. Really cool stuff. I really liked looking at these and the other pages you have posted here.

Thanks everyone. Those comparisons are really flatering. I completely dig Walt Simonson. Especialy his Thor run, every panel is just so dynamic.
If anyone wants to contact me, my email is on my site. Please use that instead of the PM system.
