This is some very nice inking Mau. Fast or not, looks nice. Not sure I'd have interpreted the lines the same way but that's why inkers aren't 'tracers'.

I still think you are making the art busier than it was to begin with ans as a result making it harder to distinguish features.
The hair inks has close to 4-5 times the number of lines as the pencils.
You have hatched the solid mass of blacks on the chest.
Some times less is more.

I really like the job on the top pic. The Ironman is interesting and dynamic, but not as well executed as some of your others. I really don't like the Batman pic for some reason-maybe the foreshortening of the arms.
Overall, looking good.

Mau,,again dont listen to nine of ten things you hear on the boards here. The main thing i like about what you are doing is getting OUT there and loose with your inks. It's a practice i WISH i had time for but unfortunately i am kinda stuck with what editors tell me at the moment. I would love to get a nice professional pencil work and just get crazy with it any way i want without alienating my "clients". I say keep this up cause it's gonna help your overall work out a LOT. As it stands in my case, i am stuck within the borders of "accepted" inks.

Oh,,and one last thing Mau,,,get RID of the dots on Batman's face, they throw the whole thing off. The rest of it is great though.

 These are really nice, Im sure that Joe Mad would also approve the inks (dont he usually ink them himself-cant blame him where can you find anybody as talented as he is)
I would like to try this too but Im not so sure how I would do it that I dont have lighttable.
Did you just print the pencil sketch and then ordinary ink pens or what did you use to do these ?
I get so frustrated that I never know which kind of papers and pens I should use when there is always some problem with them, the major problem is that the ink line edges are never sharp but as if the paper is like too absorben or not tight or dense enough and it starts to spread, maybe I should......scan... actually now I cant do that because I cant install it to my computer :slap:
Hope you dont mind me but any advices you could give me would be nice like what paper to use and what exactly kind of inkpens did you use in these examples you posted here

Am I one of the few people who can't stand JRjr's artwork? That's not to say you didn't do a great job with this, it's just hard to critique it fairly when I can't stand the pencilwork.

Okay, you do have enough art of other artists here that I can fairly comment :)
Most of the stuff is really good. But some is hit or miss. I can see where you sketched/hatched some of the shading that in some areas was indicated to be solid black by the pencils. I understand what you were going for, but I think they still would have benefitted had you actually made some of those areas solid black. I think it would have "grounded" the images more, gave them more depth (since different planes can be defined by thickness/weight of black in them, which is why we tend to hatch from thin to heavy, or feather black areas so they fade in more, I think these are suffering from lack of depth, since it's almost ALL sketchy).

your going to be a great inker, because your willing to experiment and not try to clone. The best thing is that your learning your tools. Testing them to see what kind of lines you'll get. Your work may not seem together yet but it will you'll find your own.
Great work bro,
-jim
hey. i really like this style youve got going. ive actually been trying to do some stuff like this as well.
the only real critiqe i have is with the iron man pic. its not that its bad or anything. its just that this style has such an organic feel to it which i dont feel translates as well when done on mechanical characters. like i said, its not bad. it just doesnt feel right to me.
anyways. you get a dancing banana.
