Haven't been hanging on the boards much lately (besides my own), sorry about that.

Here's a peek at one of the projects that's been keeping me so busy. Doing collage for this stuff using an X-Acto and a glue stick. Final colors in Photoshop. It's a blast.

Thanks for the feedback! We've been getting slammed with emails and the Punks newsletter subscriber list has blown up. We're trying to get some cash together to do some promo in San Diego, so we'll probably do some shirts in the next week or so.

Doing a comic like this is a big undertaking because it's completely out of the mainstream. That makes the whole process a lot harder.

If you guys feel like you want to help out and spread the word a little, we could really use the help.

All will be revealed in the actual comic. It's a hint for something that happens later in the story.

OK, got an update on this:

PUNKS is coming! But we need your help.

As some of you know, me and Josh Fialkov have this comic in the works called Punks. It's been tossed around, shown to publishers and comic professionals. Warren Ellis called it "Brilliant" blah blah blah.

But everyone wants to know when the comic is coming out. I got slammed at Wizard Dallas with everyone wanting to know the status of the book.

So we've been talking about it, making plans, making new plans, revising those plans and replanning, and now we're finally ready to make our move with an actual plan (almost).

But what we need now is HELP.

Specifically, help from YOU!

As you probably know, it's very hard to make a comic book successful. Great books tank all the time because it's so damn hard to get the word out. Somewhere out there, there's an audience for every book, but finding that audience takes an army. There IS an audience for Punks, but only a small portion of the comic audience is gonna dig it. We need to reach outside the industry on this one. That includes all those 'tight-assed' people that think they don't like comics.

Punks is gonna knock 'em on their asses.

That's where you come in.
