I'm looking for an artist to do a short 10-15 page full-color side-story comic based on my existing webcomic. The ideal artist should:

* Be able to draw expressive characters.
* Be able to draw in an anime/manga style, similar to the existing comic. A couple sample pages from our other short comics:

01-03 (http://daemonalchemist.s3.amazonaws.com/comic-samples/Short 1/03.png)
02-01 (http://daemonalchemist.s3.amazonaws.com/comic-samples/Short 2/01.png)
02-02 (http://daemonalchemist.s3.amazonaws.com/comic-samples/Short 2/02.png)
02-03 (http://daemonalchemist.s3.amazonaws.com/comic-samples/Short 2/03.png)

* Be able to draw backgrounds, including nature and architecture.
* Be willing to sign a work for hire contract.

I would like to spend about $70 per page, but that is negotiable for the right person.

Payment will be sent in parts after the completion of various milestones, with the final payment after receipt and approval of the final PSD files. This project requires signing a work for hire contract.

If you are interested, please send an email to andy@wittrock.us with the following information:

1) Subject: Short Comic - <Your Name>
3) Relevant samples of your work attached to the email.
4) Links to any online portfolios with additional relevant work.
5) Your current availability, and typical turn-around time.
6) Your rates, and what tasks you would like to do (pencils, inks, coloring, and/or lettering).

- Andy

Thank you for all of the talented artists who applied. It was a hard decision, but we have chosen the artist for this project.
