Wow! These are nice, ld! You can't find a lot of people who can properly render a horse, but you succeeded in spades (as well as with the people, too)! That last piece is very haunting; I halfway expect to see fire and brimstone coming from the horse's nostrils.

These are pretty cool. I like the vibe on the last guy. Is the second guy reacting to seeing the third guy? It seems as if he'd make that kind of impression on people.

Thanks everyone.
jeffchris50 i grew up reading Bonelli comics, which are mostly westerns, i drew so many horses, but even today without some reference i struggle to get it right.
DCdraw, second piece is my own project, which will probably never get done haha. Third image came to me after reading a collaboration post from this forum.

looking good man. last piece is a winner. loving the atmosphere and good figure work (horse anatomy is very strong!). keep rocking.

nice work, a lot of energy and you draw horses petty well (which is not an easy thing to do) the one problem I see is in the second image the guys arm holding the torch is all wrong, it looks short and twisted funny, the foreshortening just didn't land. otherwise nice stuff

Thanks Selkirk, it means alot to me having you complement my work.
Noahgrahamart, thank you. And now that you mention it, you are absolutely right. Originally the hand was to follow the sleeve's direction, but i redrew that hand so many times, i think i forgot to redo the sleeves

Whoa!!!! That critter on the bottom right of the last page!!!! Bad ass and scary as hell! No wonder the cowpoke looks like he forgot his "shittin' pants!" Really stellar stuff!

Having a little break from westerns.
Started out as Conan, but then i went for someone much more manly. Its my take on Frazettas Darkwolf, i decided not to use any reference, but rather what I remember him looking like

I really like these a lot. The last one on the horse is my favorite.
