Hi!

We're seeking two comic book artists for two different projects that are spinoffs of the critically acclaimed series Apama The Undiscovered Animal. (http://www.apamanation.com)

The first is Tap Dance Killer. A bold, new urban ongoing comic book series featuring a female African American anti-hero. We plan to do two issues this year starting in April.

The second is BLOOM. A graphic novel that tells the beautiful creepy sexy origin of Apama’s arch nemesis – the psycho-delic human bad trip - Regina. The story takes place in the late 60s and has a very hippie vibe. Wilderness galore. Approximately 80 pages. Starting in May.

Both of these feature women in the leads, and their bodies MUST be treated respectfully. We’re looking for art that is more realistic than cartoony.

Payment is quick - it is made at the end of each week via paypal for work that has been completed. We can even pay half for roughs, and half for finishes so that there is no waiting during the initial layout weeks if that is preferred. No invoice is necessary.

We encourage everyone interested to please send samples of your sequential art and desired page rates to letters@apamanation.com. $50 per page is our minimum offer, and we are willing to negotiate higher.

A completed page is inked either on paper or digitally, and delivered at 400dpi jpg or tif.

Thanks!! And other images of Tap Dance Killer and Regina can be seen on our FB page at www.facebook.com/apamanation
