The tag for this project is "His only hope was you".

And YOU would be the guy/girl I'm asking to work with me for a story near and dear to my heart. Its called After the Fire, and has taken me seven years to get to this point. This is a labor of love for me, and not to get my name in lights. The way I look at this, Im auditioning for you too. This collaboration cuts both ways.

This is a a sequential comic project with the next issue being 8-12 pages in length. Our first issue can be viewed here! (http://www.racsocomics.com/atf1/download-comics/)

An artist within the United States who can accurately draw realistic characters from pictures.

I'm open to foreign artists, but MUST understand English and convey their intent and purpose clearly and effectively.

I'm looking for high quality detailed expression, emotion, and how close your drawings will look compared to the images of these characters.

I pay the following, and am very negotiable.

$60 pp; Pencils.
$80 pp Pencils and ink.
$100 pp; Pencils, ink, and color.

I use only Paypal. Please do not ask me to use a payment system I've never used or heard of.

I pay by page, 50% down and 50% within 48 hours upon satisfied completion of page. If I ask for adjustments or tweaks, it is NOT a personal attack on your talents.

I provide you with the a storyboard of how I would like the layout to be, but am very negotiable. Its not "my way or the highway". I am a very relaxed and easy going creator.

Good communication is a MUST. If I do not receive communication from you within 48 hours regarding any matter, you will be immediately disqualified from the project and tells me this is a clear representation of your intent to quit the job and/or loss of interest in the project. Don't waste my time and I will not waste yours.

I self-publish digitally and with hard copies at the moment. We also have a life action trailer here (http://www.racsocomics.com/atf1/live-action-trailer/), plus we will be releasing high quality audio books of the story shortly. (The trailer stars Beth "Venom" Horn from the NBC show, American Gladiators.)

In my previous life, I was a filmmaker. You can read more about my films here. (http://www.axanarproductions.com/fan-film-friday-star-trek-vs-batman/) I wrote and directed the fanfilms Star Trek vs. Batman and Quantum Leap a Leap to Di For.

If youre interested, the first step is to see how well you draw the characters based on their images. These drawings do not have to be inked or colored as pencils are fine. These test cells will establish you as the main artist to draw the series of sequential art going forward. Im looking for gritty realism, and the expressions in their faces. Here is a link to the three main characters looks. (http://www.racsocomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Character-Look-References-2.pdf)

Please contact me at chris@racsocomics.com with links or samples of your work.
