Hey, all. Most of my work has been on the art side of things, but I've served as art director for a couple of projects (see links below), and now I have another I need help with. I'm doing the pencils for a series of trading cards with Old Testament characters as actually depicted in the Biblical text - think Game of Thrones or Conan more than "old guys in robes" - and I'm far enough ahead now that I want to start generating the finished pieces. That means getting an inker and colorist.

The inks will obviously be a step to a finished colored piece, but we're also going to compile the inked pics into a coloring book. For colors, I'm looking for more of a subdued style and less of an obvious digital look - see Rebecca Guay, or The Hobbit comic adaptation by Chuck Dixon (to be clear, digital coloring is perfectly fine). These will be used for a set of trading cards, and likely an illustrated encyclopedia. Credit will be given for all instances of usage, of course.

I'm looking to pay $25 per piece for inkers and the same for colorists. We're aiming for 110 pieces overall, so it's not a short gig, but it's not terribly complicated either. We do want the pieces to look uniform, so we need people who are able to follow through with the entire project. Rates are negotiable. Payment can be a lump sum at the end, or periodic as desired - let me know what you want, and just send an invoice for the pieces when you'd like to get a payment. We prefer to pay through PayPal. Payment will be sent within 48 hours.

If you think you're right for the job, please send inking and coloring samples to auralius@hotmail.com - pencils are below, if you want to work on actual pieces that'll be used. Thanks for looking!
