Wow! I really like this. Very appealing low key colors, sharp and energetic style, and good storytelling!

Yeah, really amazing design. I can see several possible comics influences, but it's going beyond them perhaps.. or doing its own thing.
Personally I'm not that much into the nihilistic violence as entertainment, but the art is still very well done.. and I would have to read the whole story to really make a judgment about that.

timr. looked over your blog. so good. btw, i picked up on the lost in the andes ref without cheating. that guy's swagger was spot on.

Thanks db. One of the great comics of all time imo, I would put it in the top 5 of anything I've ever read. Barks is rightly a legend, but still under-rated...

I would love at least one establishing shot/background per page, just to keep the reader grounded with a sense of location.
