Just found these! :D

Back in SDCC, sometime in 92-93 in the Dark Horse booth, while looking at my portfolio, Randy Stradley asked me to do 3-4 sample pages of Predator and he showed me the latest issue for reference. It was my last few days in my SDCC trip, so that night I worked on the samples and unfortunately whipped only these two pages. The next day I came back to show these to Randy and he asked for copies but because of the event, I didn't get the chance to find a copier. I went back to him and he told me to make more samples and submit to Dark Horse via post.

I didn't get the job to do the Predator that year, but landed on a bigger project eventually with the Star Wars Tales of the Jedi in 94. I still remember to this day how a cool guy like Randy had treated me that day: as one of the thousand aspiring artists trying to hone their craft to contribute one's life work in the comics industry.
