I finally started my first on-going comic series. It's called HIGH NOON RISING and is a straight forward WESTERN story. No supernatural elements etc.

I've started the story today and have uploaded the cover and opening scene (3 pages). You can click the link below to read them. I will be putting a new page up every Saturday from here on out.

If you like it, then please, like the Facebook, share etc

I hope you enjoy the story as it goes along in the future.

James.

I hate you!

Seriously... that's nice looking, and I'm a sucker for westerns too!

The "I hate you" part is... I'm working on a short story, not a western, that would have a scene very much like the panel you just posted here... It's a desert story, but not a western. Now I have to make sure I don't steal any of your layout ideas!

Good job, I'll have to go check out the rest.

I checked out the 3 pages you have so far and like this a lot. The coloring reminds me a bit of Dave Stewert. Good luck with this.

@ Stewart, sorry man. I know how that feels. I was writing a feature screenplay about a man escorting a young girl across an apocalyptic wasteland and then a small game called THE LAST OF US came out and I was like, "Shit"! I'm still re-working that script to this day lol. You should still go for your story though, we've all read the same story over and over, it's how it's told that changes and I'm sure you'd tell yours different than I'm telling mine. Full Metal Alchemist and FMA Brotherhood are good examples ;) I want to read it ;)
