View Full Version : TEZLA: A Shocking New Webcomic Series

Hi Everyone!

I've lurked for years and spent much of my time enjoying what others have been doing, but quite honestly I've been out of the forum ring for quite some time. Well, there's no time like the present and now I want to share something with you.:whistlin:

My name's Dimitris Moore, and I'm the creator of TEZLA. This story follows Tess Bridges, college student by day, superhero by night. She didnít choose this double life; it sort of happened. Through natural selection and a chemical known worldwide as HERA, Tess is now part of a small collective of people in the world gifted with supernatural abilities. Where did it all begin? One name keeps popping up in the media. That name is TREK Pharmaceuticals. What are they up to? What are they hiding? And how is Tess caught in the middle?

Currently the first page has been uploaded and the updates roll out every Tuesday. Any feedback is welcomed, as this is a passion project that I would like to improve over time and eventually turn into something beyond a webcomic.

I hope you take time to read and stay tuned. Here's a link to the website:

Looks good. Always love to see comics coming out of Michigan. Are you planning on doing "x" amount of pages per chapter and then maybe try to release print copies when the chapters have completed online, or are you just purely focusing on it being webcomic format?

I haven't decided if I want to release print editions of single issues, or package things in a trade paperback of "x" amount of issues/chapters. The idea, though, is to do print eventually. Thanks for reading!

So good to see this finally see the light of day! The pages look tremendous, Dimitris! Those colors really bring your artwork to life. Don't think I've ever seen your work look better. Can't wait to read more!

Thanks Mike! It's been a long time coming, but happy to be putting this out in some form.

Which reminds me. It's Tuesday! That means another update.

Sorry for the delay, folks! I have been quite busy with work, but rest assured, the updates are still rolling out. Here's what you have missed so far.

Our hero is having a rough time in this throw down, but she's resilient and always ready to fight back. I hope you're all enjoying reading as much as I am creating. Page 4 marks the point at which I've taken over full creator responsibilities of TEZLA. The idea was to have a team, but as money didn't allow, I simply could not afford to keep my colorist Whitney Cook. This is how she earns a living, and I would never ask anyone to do this for free. She did a great job on the cover and first 3 pages. With that said, now that it's just a team of me, I still aim to hold myself accountable and maintain the update schedule. Here we go!

Continue reading, commenting, and sharing. Thanks!

Nice work!

And... whew! She's taking a cringe-worthy beating there. Hopefully she's able to give as good as she gets. And then learns to dodge!

Yea, it's pretty impressive how she's able to stand through all this punishment. I'm a terrible creator, putting the hero through this; but have to take the training wheels off sooner or later. Why not start it that way?

Also, no update this week. Had an issue over the weekend that requires immediate attention. Updates will resume next week and as scheduled.

Sorry. Stay tuned!
