Sup, homies?

I got a Kickstarter up for my new comic, Urban Archer & Abracadiva #1. It's a superhero romance set in 1970's San Francisco. Classic superhero dynamics mixed with psychedelic counter-culture.

I know y'all are busy working on your own projects, but I'd appreciate any love you could send my way.

Thanks man, I'm actually pretty proud of it. I think it's the best script I've written and we are having a lot of fun with the character designs. I just wish I was as good at running a Kickstarter.

Hey Aaron-- just added your project to the announcement bulletin. I'll also tweet you out through the @digitalwebbing Twitter account this week. I'll drop a few bucks your way too. Thanks for helping us out in the past with our Kickstarters!

I was going to post up a long post about how shocked that I was that this Kickstarter had so few pledges when I realized why. This Kickstarter does not say 'comic' anywhere in it's title or synopses. People aren't pledging because they can't find it.

I searched through several pages of the comic, webcomics, and graphic novel sections. Your project wasn't anywhere. So the demographic who would be supporting this can't find it under their usual search terms.

I think that because of that, you might be better off cancelling this Kickstarter and starting it again. That way you can get back those days you lost and get another chance to succeed at this.
