Such meticulous detailing!

Overall, it's a really beautiful piece. Which begs the question of why her face is so out of synch with the rest of the piece. The nose and the forehead imbue her with a tad of an alien look. The big eyes contribute to it, certainly, but it's the nose area that grabs my eye, and then my eye is pulled up to the expanse that is the forehead.

The sheer volume of detailing present here helps the areas that are not filled with detail to stand out - and to consequently be more noticeable.

The detailing on the mechanical pieces is gorgeous, though.

Wonderful lines, good control. Overly rendered interpretive decoration conflates form with the background, I think the penciler's Finch influence is hurting his structure to be quite honest. I'd like to see you handle someone a little less obsessive.

Do you work professionally?

@Charles - Thanks for the comments. The face sort of annoyed me a little too, it is something I am looking to improve on. I think the original pencils had that same sort of feel, but I just failed to adjust them enough to make it look "right"

@MattTriano - Thanks, I do some freelance work - but only really small time stuff, comic art is really just a hobby for me at the moment. I do have fairly extensive gallery's on my DevinatArt (http://mattjamescomicarts.deviantart.com) Site which does have some stuff of a far less detailed nature.
