Original Pencils by Max Dunbar: http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/065/4/1/the_winter_soldier_by_max_dunbar-d795qha.jpg

NOTE: Edited the background a bit and added some lineweight and hatching here and there as per the comments on penciljack. Not much I can do at this point about "being too faithful to the pencils".

that figure looks really cool. you nailed it. those pencils are interesting in that they clearly define the image/figure, but are loose enough to give you room to be creative in how you ink them.

the ONLY thing that is sucking, is that building in the background, specifically on those oval shapes. I can see that obviously the penciler rendered it loosely without defining it very well, but I don't think that INKING it in the same way did anything except shine a big spotlight on how rough and unfinished it actually is. would have looked neat if you have the opportunity to reference the actual building and define it with believable textures and lines. BUT, the figure looks great.

Your lines on the winter soldier himself are VERY lively and well done. Once again I agree with Rob, you should have given a little more attention to the background buildings. Being a professional inker requires that you pay attention to even the smallest details. Laziness will stand out very starkly when coupled with really nice lines.
