View Full Version : Scanner HELP!!!!!!

Just purchased a new iMac with mavericks 10.9 and using a mustek a3 1200 pro with cs5, damn thing hangs up finalizing after scanning, image is there but the color wheel keeps on spinning round..and as almost every muster owner knows support for the scanner is non existent, any help in getting this thing to run would be appreciated!!!!using it for scanning inks in nothing else...thanks:slap::slap:

Could be a Mavericks issue. Many folks are having driver problems right now.

thanks i was having the same issue before i downloaded mavericks, i think it's a mustek issue

Well, that's better. At least there may be a fix for it then. If it was Mavericks it would be a while...

just what i was thinking, seems that mustek is trying to faze out the 1200 pro there hasn't been an updated driver for the mac in quite awhile the last one was for cs4 i believe and to use the 1200 with it you had to switch cs4 and use it rosetta and that option is gone with cs5...sucks dammit!!!

You need use your picture viewer and then go under Edit: Network devises: and pick your scanner. This is the only way you can scan Mustek uses TWAIN, CS5 does not
