I have drawn up this flyer for a concert and would really appreciate it if someone could ink it for me. I tried to color it in with marker and xerox it and it looks like shit. You would be saving my ass big time! I cant pay you but you will earn lifetime free admittance to any SPE show. Feel free to take complete artistic freedom.http://i847.photobucket.com/albums/ab33/Jamesvomit320/10-08-2013045115PM.jpg

is there another website that i can solicit some help? one that isnt comic related, but more inking or photoshop related. Even better would be if there was a drawing program that would do the work for me. It doesnt have to be professional. Thanks!!

here is a more cleaned up image. i have been doing some research and it looks like it can easily be autotraced or vectorized. anyone know how to do that can do it for me? it looks very easy and not time consuming at all.

Just outlined or do you need any depth given to it?
This looks like posters from the 70's that primarily relied on solid colours spaced out of a neutral background.
BTW - I'd suggest less stylizing of the I.
I get that it's supposed to be a lightning bolt but on a casual look it makes the last word look like two words.

well it is going to be xeroxed so black and white is fine. The "I" is the grateful dead lightning bolt and is to attract grateful dead fans to the show. I need it just like it is but solid black lines, not multiple shades of grey lines. I am putting 2 flyers per 8X11 sheet of paper.

ok, i got it vectorized by using vector magic, and im happy with how it looks. but now i dont know how to go from grey to black lines.

Oh, glad you got it done.

Here's what I came up with using some brush and marker lines

Yeah. That'll get you a long way around here....or anywhere else for that matter. Good luck with your show.

I was thinking the same thing, but I couldn't tell if he was joking or not. If not, it's pretty crappy to get upset that no one wanted to work for him for free...

just a joke. If i wanted to talk shit, i would have called you guys something worse than "lazy bums". should have used a sarcastic looking smiley face to show my sarcasm. :sure:
