In the next issue of Batman Inc, damien Wayne alias Robin dies, and that is not good. I have a feeling that they will be no more Robins forever and that will make Batman more working alone now.

Really?

Never liked the idea of Damian Wayne.

Of course, killing the character doesn't fix the Batman-has-a-son problem.

Batman "had-a-son" is better than "has-a-son"

Had or has, it should have permanently altered the character in a way that would be difficult to reconcile with his continued Batmaning. (Even with Talia having messed the kid's head up.)

i did like the dick grayson/damian dynamic. I do think Damian now needs to disappear though. His act is old.

It would be awesome if Bruce dragged Damien into a church and inspected his scalp for a birthmark. Upon finding a birthmark that looks like 666 he would stab him with a dagger.

For any not aware, Damien was meant to be killed in the first story arc he appeared in, and was created specifically so DC couldn't erase him easily.

At least that's what Morrison said.

I really liked the character. Loved his role in the Batman and Robin book. It's a shame to see him go, but if Morrison can bring him back, it's his business to kill him off. If he stays dead. But it probably would have been hard to shoehorn a 10-year-old into books like those, so I guess it makes sense.

I am so pissed. Like out of all the annoying characters in the DC pantheon you kill a 10-year-old? What was Mr. Banjo not available?

DC's way out on that is Damien having been "unnaturally" created. He was retconned into having been grown in a test tube or some bullshit like that along the way. When Damien was originally introduced that wasn't the case--Morrison even linked the character to an old school GN where Batman and Talia got it on.

Son of the Demon, where Talia did indeed have Bruce's son at the end of the story.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually like Damien Wayne!
I was hoping some future series in which Bruce retires, and Damian takes his place..
But now he's dead, so.. :(

If readers want it, then no one can stop it.
Not even Ra's Al Ghul... :har:
