Well done. Well done. The large scans were a joy to see. I wish my first few years looked as good as Gaspar's first few stories.

Great posts, Todd. I follow your blog on my blog reader, and it's always very interesting. Lettering is, in my opinion, the most overlooked aspect of comic art, and it's nice to see your in depth analysis of lettering done by yourself and others.

I also recommend everyone check out your posts about the "Joyride" print you did with Gene Ha. Lots of great information there about your lettering process.

It fascinates me that no one can say for sure what Gaspar's first work was--even him.

Though, I must confess, I was a tad confused a few days ago which work of mine came first.

I think it was Wonder Woman.

But it may have been House of Mystery--the Elvira version.

I'm pretty sure it was Wonder Woman, though...'cause I recall my excitement over it--and Superman was in that issue!

I massacred that issue...but I did my best at the time.

It's 2013--!! Where's my time machine?
