Will he be gay? Or covered in red fur, perhaps? Or whatever that was they did to Deathstroke?

Yeah, I still don't care. :sure:

Argh, I hate that Snyder has to contend with Tony Daniel's awful Dollmaker plot line where Joker removed his fucking face.

Yeah, I really hope that terrible face/off concept pays off.

I DO like the idea that Synder's the new Morrison in terms of unpredictability, and instead of "the next issue," his arcs are becoming events.

Here's a cool little interview about the arc.

Looks as ugly as sh!t. Like Troy, I hate that they have to even reference Tony Daniel's awful storyline in this.

So, you've read it already, even though it's still a couple of months out, eh? :)

I don't think it was intended to look pretty...

I think it is one of the creepier Joker pieces I have seen, and I lok forward to what Snyder and Capullo have in store for readers.

Bloody, rotting, ripped-off human faces held right out at you - stretched and contorted by meatfaced, lidless, lipless maniacs.

Damn it, WHY don't kids read comics anymore?!

Because they're not dark or gruesome enough.

Hey, considering there's a LOT worse in even some PG13 movies...

In the few instances I've talked to kids at signings past or folks who ask if their kid can ask me about working in comics, I've never had a single one say anything about loving horror comics, horror movies, etc.

When a neighbor asked for my homepage to give their kid, the kid was terrified of it and didn't go any further.

So I color-coded the links with lime green being "basically kid-friendly".

Faceless Joker = Comics industry fail. All around, because I love horror and I don't even give a shit about it.

Not every fucking thing has to be the SAW franchise.

Not every fucking thing has to be the SAW franchise.

Yea why not just create a new character to add to Bats' rogues gallery, a faceless killer who likes cutting peoples skin off, why have to mess with the Joker?

I much prefer Geoff Johns original approach to the Flash. Add to the mythos of existing characters, fix the ones that are turds, add new ones, cash in paychecks to buy the batmobile from the 1989 film.

You can literally (yes, literally) put a bunch of traits on a dart board and randomly create Batman villains. SANDWICH... FIRE... WOMAN... Ah! A female sandwich shop worker gets tired of toasting people's subs and decides to toast customers instead!

...

I said you could DO it, I didn't say it'd be good. :)

How about a crazy woman that likes to light people on fire and eat a sandwich as she watches them burn?

We can call her Firewich or Sandwoman ... I know, I'll go ahead and slap myself upside the head. :slap:

That used to be the Spider-Man method of rogue selection.
