I’m the writer of the comedy webcomic Sandra and Woo ( http://www.sandraandwoo.com/ ) which has currently about 15,000 visitors per day.
I’m looking for a colorist who colors all new comic strips before their publication as well as all existing strips (300) over the course of time.
Around 3/4 of the strips consist of 3 or 4 panels in one row, the rest are longer strips, usually with 6 panels in two rows. Here is a typical 4 panel strip as it appears on our website: http://www.sandraandwoo.com/2009/11/23/0114-with-an-iron-fist/ Here is our current strip in its original size which is the basis for the coloration: http://www.wyit.de/stuff/2011-08-25-0302-what-woo-needs-BLACK-AND-WHITE.png
The following points are particularly important:
- You are available for long-term work.
- You have enough time to color all new comics (2 per week) as well as the existing ones over the course of time.
- You are able to color a comic without specific directions. (I really don’t have time for color micro-management.)
Your application must include your rate for a 4 panel row and how many rows you could color per week in average.
Of course I’m particularly interested in colored comics in your portfolio.
Send your application to novil@gmx.de
Don’t expect a reply before 3/4 September.
