Hi Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to read, and thanks in advance for any interest. As the title says, I'm a writer in seek of an artist (penciller first; if you can handle inks and colors, then even better) for a mini-series I've been working on for over a year now. It's a 6 issue southern revenge road trip story, about two twin brothers cruising the south and picking off the now retired members of a motorcycle gang that killed their parents. There's twists, turns, violence, foul language, and sex. But also a lot of heart, drama and brotherhood. It deals with death, mourning, family and morality. It's a modern tale, but pays homage to Grindhouse films and Americana culture and fast cars.

I've outlined the entire series, and written the full script for the first issue. My plan is to do the ol' pitch routine with 5-8 pages of artwork (where you come in). Ultimately - and this is if no publishers bite - I'll even self-publish it, as I simply *have* to do this book, but again, that's if there's no interest after trying.

I am a published writer; I write and letter the webcomic Terminals (http://terminalscomic.com/2010/08/terminals-3/) for Penny Farthing Press (it was never intended for web, long story...), and I've lettered several books, mostly indies. I'm serious as a heart attack about comics.

I don't believe in doing work for free, and I value great art and artists, therefore, I will pay for your work - pitch accepted or not. We can discuss that via email though.

Feel free to drop me a line with any questions or art samples if you're interested - ferrier.ryan @ gmail - I look forward to hearing from you, and thanks!

Ryan
