I have no idea what to pay for flash animation so I'm looking for quotes. What we're going to do is put up weekly animated shorts of our characters, just fun little 1-2 minute bits of animation to have some kind of fresh content on our website. Nothing really elaborate but not just talking heads either.
The number of shorts and the run times may vary later, but for the purposes of putting together a quote lets say there are 12 shorts at 2 minutes each. What would you charge for that (and I'll view as an approximate as you would probably need more details and character specifics) but just a generic rough quote is fine. Also what likely speed per short.
Do not feel the need to lowball yourself. We don't have the money of a large company but at the same time we're not out to get people to work for practically nothing. Just put together what you feel is a reasonable amount. We may not go with the cheapest....it's going to be a combo of factors like the price, the speed, and whether or not we like the style of your past work.
