Hello,
My name is Jeff Telofski, and I am looking for an artist to collaborate with on an All-Ages, Four issue mini-series. Specifically, I want to first put together a pitch package to send to Image Comics or other companies to get published. Here are the details:
TITLE: MEDIUM KUNG-FU
CONCEPT: Kung-Fu versus Kaiju!
MINI-SERIES SUMMARY:
When the Real Heroes of the world mysteriously vanish, it is up to ZHI PENG, Kung-Fu Master, to protect the Earth from Monsters the size of Houses and Skyscrapers! Alongside LT. COLONEL MADISON GATES of the INTERNATIONAL STATURE DEFENSE COLLECTIVE, the feeble yet intelligent CAPTAIN RONALD LYON, and the Masterless Ronin SAMUR-EYE, Zhi Peng will seek to stop the Monsters from finding the THREE JEWELS OF THE TAO and unlock a prison dimension holding the Universe’s most evil Kung-Fu Master, THUNDERCLAP!
FORMAT and DEMOGRAPHIC:
MEDIUM KUNG-FU will be a four issue mini-series. The first issue is 32pgs, and the remaining three would most likely be 22pgs each. It is a comic that any fan of humor, action, and epicness can enjoy (especially kids like my Nephews!).
ARTIST REQUIREMENTS and COMPENSATION:
I am looking for an artist to handle all penciling, inking, and coloring on five sequential pages as well as a cover for the mini-series (if you can letter as well, great! But if not we’ll find a letterer elsewhere). A Page Rate for the Pitch Package is negotiable, and the plan would be for back-end profits to pay for remaining page rates. Half Ownership of the property will also be given.
I am also, above all, looking for someone who loves drawing Monsters and Kung-Fu! I think a bright, exciting style would fit the story well!
