Still deciding on reprint rate.

We pay immediately upon completion BEFORE you turn anything in. However, deadlines are tight. Two weeks to write, three weeks to draw. Rate is reduced for missed deadlines. Our stories are mostly 22 pages, some are 12.

We're looking for more traditional art styles (influenced more by artists like Buscema, Kane, Wood, Perlin, Swan, Romita, etc. than anime or Image). Artists that know anatomy and perspective. We prefer penciler to ink self....but we can take it case by case. For writers we're looking for fun and adventure, not grim or gritty.

Send samples or link to samples comicwasteland@gmail.com

We cannot read any stories or review any artwork featuring your original characters. Only samples featuring established characters or generic characters you're not claiming ownership of (lawyer junk). Send samples only in .RTF or .DOC formats or links please.

Mostly looking for sequential samples from artists. With colorists I'd like to see some digital coloring where all of the Caucasian characters didn't seem to have tans (pet peeve).

We're not at the stage to review or publish creator-owned stories or characters. We will be pursuing that around October. Creators will keep all rights 100% at all times. CW would be granted the right to minority share in media & merchandising rights for just 24 months.

Right now we're just taking stacks of submissions, we are unlikely to get back to anyone (except for promo work) until late July or early August, so I apologize ahead of time for that.

This is going to be up until August, so no rush for you to get your samples in order.

Thanks.
