Hey everyone! As of now im starting a new search for comic book artist for a new project that will be available in the next week. I need effective communicators so if you dont speak fluent english, sorry these jobs arent for you.

IF YOU DONT READ THE ENTIRE POST YOU WONT BE ABLE TO APPLY PROPERLY. I WILL NOT HIRE PEOPLE WHO OFF THE BAT CANT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.

I need an Artist for a ten page zombie story, which has some similar elements to the film Zombieland. Although there may be a few comedic aspects im still looking for a more traditional look. The zombies are very traditional the same kind you would see in most popular zombie films such as Zombieland, resident evil, etc. This story takes place in the american south west, so you would be drawing desert for scenery.

I usually have projects around this size available every couple of weeks so if you don't think you would fit in with the zombie genre, but still want to apply thats fine. I hold onto all portfolios for later reviews.

Artist abilities - It truly is easiest for me to to pay one person as the one stop shop for pencils, inks, colors, and letters. So please let me know how many of these you can do. If you are limited to just a couple of these still feel free to apply, however most likely preference will be given to those who can do the most. Being able to do Pencils, inks, and colors is really what I'm looking for and if you can do letters that's an extra bonus.

Pay - When you apply please include your page rates for each of these individual tasks as well as for a full page if can do all of the work. I wont be emailing you to negotiate rates, so let me know what your honest rates are, and if i can work with them and i like your art ill let you know.

Contract - Before any work is started, you will be asked to sign a freelance work for hire contract. This signs over the rights of the art to myself, as well as includes a NDA. IN ORDER TO GET THE CONTRACT SET UP I NEED TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE LOCATED ( as in what country, if you are in the USA please note which state)

How to Apply - YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS OR ELSE YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE DELETED IMMEDIATELY.
1. Please title your email as 'Submission'
2. Include a Link to your ONLINE portfolio and works. NO ATTACHMENTS. if you don't have any examples of sequential work you will not be considered.
3. Include your page rates SEE THE PAY SECTION FOR BETTER DETAILS.
4. INCLUDE YOUR LOCATION
5. Also please include how long it would take you to complete the 10 pages.

Please dont reply on this thread as i will not be checking it.
All Submissions CLOSED

thanks for hanging in there
Kevin

The artist has been chosen and notified.

Due to a ton of submissions id rather respond here then send a copy and paste e mail to all of you. So thank you all so much for responding, especially those who followed the directions. I am holding onto all the submissions that i did like for the potential of working together in the future

Side note

A lot of you didn't follow the directions, which lead me to delete your application no questions asked. A lot of your links didn't work, some of you responded in spanish, some of you didn't have sequential, and the list keeps on going and going. A couple of people didn't even have portfolios, even though i cant pay you like marvel and DC you should still try to act a bit professional.
