Hi,
I am currently finishing up writing my anthology book and have several slots to fill for commissions on 8-12 page stories for Web and Print Comics.
What I'd like to see from potential artists are sequentials only.
Here's what to send in email:
1) Your Name
2) Samples - Styles are more dark, gritty, and semi-realistic. If you can provide at least 6 pages of Sequentials that will be sufficient. I am open to other styles as well, but this book is a serious book with a lot of Black Op and Paranormal Aspects within a realistic world.
3) How fast you can get pages done in the highest quality you can. I am not looking for heavy deadlines with exception to my Print Version of my Comic. I'd like to know how fast you can do a page, Pencils or Pencils and Inks.
4) Page Rates - This will also determine my choices in commissioning artists works. If your work is great and can get pages done regularly, and your rates are reasonable, you're probably going to be my top pick.
5) Do you Pencil AND Ink your own work?
Coming in Late July I will need artists to fill slots.
Also, I am looking for Comic Strip Artists. I will be putting out a call for Comic Strip Artists in another thread soon.
