I know, "GASP!", right?

I just need to make this publicly known and hopefully others will join me in this: until this trend is reversed, I am done with Marvel. Tomorrow I will be phoning my local comic book shop and asking them to remove all Marvel books from my hold list.

God knows there are plenty of indies more deserving of our attention and hard-earned cash than Marvel's tripe.

If there was a real world of superheroes (sort of like Marvel was originally supposed to be) there would be costumed crime-fighters biting the dust every week. Villains too. Cleaning house is a great idea, but the gimmick of just killing for the sake of nothing original to do is the same as it ever was: LAME.

Top 12 Marvel characters I'd kill:

1) Cyclops
2) Franklin Richards
3) Dazzler
4) Cable
5) Norman Osborn
6) Rulk/Red Hulk
7) Maria Hill and the rest of Shield (except for Nick Fury)
8) Venom
9) Carnage
10) Daken
11) Punisher
12) Kevin Bacon

I'll second that. Maybe if we collect enough names they'll go through with it. :w00t:

I agree with killing off Daken. Besides being Nega-Wolverine (which was a lame idea to begin with) I don't see the appeal of this character.

One question SuperMonkey, what's a 'Marvel'?

 Marvel has been dead to me since Civil War.

Wolverine would have been first on my list except I want to keep him alive for Old Man Logan.

He had it coming. He's tied to everything and everyone.

yeah I remember I started a post about this before...Id kill off Dr Doom. all that power he has, all the talk but he's just a waste. Death by Magneto crushing him like a pop can.

Doom's one of the best characters Marvel has. Magneto knows better than to mess with him.

He's Sebastian Shaw in the new X movie, right? It makes sense to kill him then.
