What the hell happened...?

One issue then done? The past three issue they've solicited have had Kieron Gillen back as writer.

From everything I can tell Fractions webpage (Twitter Feed...?) says he's working on it and I've not seen anything that said he's off the book. I know he mentioned he pitched three years worth of stories to Marvel.

Anyone have any ideas?

He's hella slow, and they are going to switch between him and the other guy.

Fraction hasn't had his debut issue released yet, has he?

He isn't a slow writer. But Quesada warned him against picking up Thor while already carrying Invincible Iron Man and Uncanny X-Men.

He's never missed a deadline to my knowledge.

I can see switching artists on a book because they're slow like on Uncanny X-Men but swapping writers isn't usualy done unless the two are co-writing which isnt the case here.

Im just hoping the powers that be took a step back to let Fraction and Ferry build up some issues before they let the fly. Not that it really would matter anyways... the JMS and Coipel run was damn near quarterly and it didnt hurt sales any.
