the shading looks good the colors are nice but the pose and the wings seem a little stiff. if you need ideas on how to reference something like this look at videos of raptors taking off or soaring to how there bodies move when doing so.

Thanks for the comments...I guess it does look a little forced. I was kind of going for a waiting to strike kind of pose, but it did not come across that way at all. Still working on the coloring. Appreciate the comments, still looking for more critiques.

Try adding a drop shadow of her wings onto her body and a drop shadow of her on the other set of wings. It looks like the light is coming from the right if that helps.

Going for Akroma from MTG? That armor's familiar. The rendering of the armor seems good, but that pose is stiff.

The details in the armor plating are amazing. Excellent color choice, too. The yellow really stands out beautifully against the purple, which, in turn, looks great against the white of her skin.

Thanks for all of the comments. The armour was done on two layers and the purple was erased out to show the yellow underneath. Did that so I could transition the color change for the shadows on the yellow. Something different that I wanted to try and it worked for the most part. I will work on the pose some more and the shadowing, didn't even think about the wing creating a shadow. Keep the critques coming... :bounce:
