Thing vs. Ares

A recent piece I did of Thing in the process giving Ares a Muscle Buster ( a wrestling move). I colored it using Copic markers. I messed up on the legs a little bit with thing and the ground is slanted. Critique welcomed.

I think you would really benefit from getting deep into some anatomy study--books are easiest, and a class if you could wing it somehow. The Cola museum has a life drawing session every tues night for a small fee--super awesome.

Another issue is your choice for a few heavier blacks in some places. There aren't many, but sometimes they are little confusing. And in one instance, the way you've done it...well, it looks like Thing might...have something unexpected down below, if you get my drift. This is just sort of paying careful attention to what lines you're putting where, and why.

It's a funny idea, I like it. :) I'm sure others here can give you some good comments too.

Yeah I'm from SC, I working on my anatomy studies with artwork. It's a work in progress.Like I said I messed up playing around in photoshop. Thanks for the critique.
