We all knew it would happen.....

Now that Red Robin has discovered the cave painting from the end of Final Crisis, can you tell us the timeline for Bruce [Wayne]'s re-entry into the DCU (or whatever the resolution to his story might be)?

DiDio: I think there will be a lot of discussion about Bruce, where he is, what's happened to him, and there'll be some level of resolution throughout 2010.

Nrama: Is Grant Morrison going to be involved with Bruce Wayne returning? Or being found or whatever it is that's going to happen?

DiDio: Grant is the centerpiece of so much that's going on with Batman right now. And since Grant had a lot of what happens to Bruce mapped out at the moment of his departure, I can only believe he'll be the guy that'll be shepherding any storylines with him in the future.

Anyone read Red Robin? Any more info as to what's going on?

Of course we knew this would happen. They've only just heralded Dick inthe mantle of the Bat, so I'm surprised they're talking about Bruce's return so soon. I would have let the mystery go a little longer before bringing Bruce back.

I'm all for Bruce Wayne to come back, but I'm not sure about him returning as Batman so soon.

Yeah, I'm with you. I'm actually enjoying Dick and Damian as Batman & Robin right now. I would have let that tandem go on for a bit longer before bringing Bruce back as Batman (which I ultimately want, of course).

Same as with Captain America, knew it would happen but... too soon. Let's hope "into 2010" translates into at least several more issues of the current Dick and Damian Batman & Robin title.

Wasn't Batman and Robin supposed to be a 12 issues arc?

Despite the phrasing, its very possible Bruce Wayne returns but Dick remains Batman for a while.

I am thoroughly enjoying Batman and Robin. Plot, dialogue, art...this is the best Grant has put out since 52, hell maybe since New X-Men.

I think it's better than either, though I miss Frank already. New art isn't bad at all though.

What I've heard is that Bruce will return, but not as Batman.

Bruce won't return and not be Batman for too long. It's simply not in his nature to sit by the sidelines for too long.

That true he's been the bat for so long he can't help but return to the cowl.

Haven't they put out the first trade yet? I want to see if Morrison's run is falling further after the crapfest that was R.I.P.

I didn't hate Morrison's Batman run, but didn't think it was the best thing since sliced bread.
It was good.
Now Batman and Robin...that is some of THE BEST stuff Morrison has done in a long time.

Yeah, I'm enjoying B&R so far too.
